A tour operator needed extra flights between Sweden and the Italian Alps during the busy ski season.

Helping a ski tour operator meet seasonal demand

A Swedish tour operator asked for our help meeting seasonal demand for trips to the Italian Alps during the busy ski season. They needed a round-trip flight departing every Saturday between January and March, with the outbound sector flying customers to Italy and the inbound leg returning another group back to Sweden. With a strict flight schedule to adhere to, we got to work on a reliable and cost-effective series charter solution.

Our Solution

Route: Gothenburg > Turin

Aircraft: Boeing 737-800

The client needed an aircraft that could comfortably accommodate almost 200 passengers, along with their baggage and bulky ski equipment. Reaching out to our industry contacts, we quickly sourced a Boeing 737-800 with a large cabin and extensive hold capacity that was available for the requested period.

We personalised the charter wherever possible, including providing dedicated check-in desks branded with the tour operator’s logo. We also sent one of our team to accompany the first round trip, overseeing every detail and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
